New Colombo Plan scholars receive a prestigious scholarship, which offers Australian government funding from the Department of Foreign Affairs for students to study and intern in the Asian and Indo-Pacific regions, helping to develop cross-cultural links internationally.

Congratulations to Yunaa and Liah in Year 8 on winning the Intermediate Division of the prestigious University of Melbourne Mathematics and Statistics Research Competition.

Entries were judged according to the originality, creativity, communication, presentation and elegance of their solutions.

The girls made progress on a fiendishly difficult maths problem whose solution has eluded many mathematicians to date and have assured their teacher that the $1500 prize money will be spent on new maths textbooks that will help ensure victory next year!

Well done to Rita and Seraphina in Year 9 for creating a unique fundraising project in support of the World Literacy Foundation.

The girls recently organised zoom sessions, reading books and conducting writing workshops, for children in Years 2-4 experiencing COVID lockdowns in Australia and overseas.

The girls have raised $300 so far from over 70 interested respondents from Australia and Singapore and hope to reach their goal of $350.

A story inspired by her grandfather and the incredible sacrifice of all Australians who served during the Vietnam War 1962-75.

Congratulations to Atholl for winning the inaugural 'Race to the Castles' House event.

Atholl streaked ahead to their castle with a total of 15634 kilometers.

Balmoral was a close second at 14543 kms and Glamis was third on 11261 kms.

Well done to the 500+ participants who helped make this such a fun and successful event!
