During their inaugural competition, our STEM Team won the Tournament Of Minds (TOM) Honours Award. The Junior School girls were tasked with devising a prototype machine designed to facilitate the exploration of undiscovered creatures in the Amazon Rainforest. Their creation, the Boxy 6000, boasted an array of features including solar panels, a magnetic access mechanism, functional wheels and numerous other cutting-edge components. TOM is a program providing students the opportunity to solve authentic, open-ended challenges in the disciplines of The Arts, Language Literature, Social Sciences and STEM. Well done to the girls on this great achievement.
