Position Overview

Presbyterian Ladies’ College is seeking to appoint an experienced Administration Assistant - Human Resources to work closely with the Principal’s Office, the Business Manager, and other senior management. We invite applications to commence from Term 2, 2018, or as negotiated.

Personal Requirements

  • Previous experience in relevant HR roles
  • HR related tertiary qualification
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Negotiation skills of a high standard with the ability to achieve successful outcomes
  • Good working knowledge of all HR relevant legislation and practices, including Awards, Agreements, Employee Relations, EEO and WorkCover
  • An understanding or previous experience working in the educational environment
  • A commitment to child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Previous experience in administration or relevant HR roles
  • Excellent computer skills are required particularly using MS Word (including Mail Merge), Excel, E-mail and the Internet
