Our week started on Monday with a massive power outage on Burwood Highway, which left all but the ELC without power from 6.30am until 9.30pm. It was a challenging day for us all, but one which highlighted the resilience and ‘get on with it’ attitude of PLC girls and staff, as everyone pulled together to find good solutions to potential problems that emerged and to support each other through any difficulties.

This weekend Ultimate Frisbee World Champion and PLC Old Collegian Catherine Phillips (09) will take on Japan in the Australia vs Japan Ultimate Frisbee World Series Test Match.

Presbyterian Ladies College is proud to reveal its new Performing Arts Centre – a beautiful, light filled building.

The Centre was declared open on Tuesday 16 May by PLC Old Collegian and world-renowned composer Professor Liza Lim (1983).

Students of all ages were invited to explore the building as part of the launch, experiencing first-hand its innovative performance and flexible practice spaces.

The Performing Arts Centre is designed to be the heart of music, drama and the performing arts at the College.
